The vision of Ntshole Foundation is to implement sustainable programs in Technology, Agriculture and the Arts that empower and expose the youth of South Africa in all nine provinces. We believe that access to quality education and innovation can help lead young people out of poverty and into prosperity.

Our programs are centered around a value-add flow, that begins the journey with a student in High School.

Ntshole Foundation is built on three strong and specific pillars: Technology, Agriculture and The Arts.

In our Technology program, students attend monthly Saturday classes with a volunteer facilitator who provides learners with a year-long curriculum. The curriculum seeks to improve their mathematics and science scores, through interactive coding workshops.

Hunger is on the rise again globally and undernutrition continues to affect millions of children. Our Aquaponics programs aim to support and invest in the next generation of farmers through  hands on training that combines aquaculture and agriculture, whilst at the same time teaching learners about science.

We understand that not all learners may pursue careers or businesses related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or Agriculture. Therefore, with the learners in our Arts program, our focus is to help them excel at their craft by exposing them to local theater and cultural opportunities. We will also host entrepreneurship workshops that will teach them how to properly monetize their craft.

All three programs are carefully monitored and evaluated through our systematic and quarterly testing and reporting that helps us measure the impact our programs have in the learners’ academic improvement.

Once learners get to matric, they have the opportunity to put everything they have learned over the course of the programs, to the test by participating in our in-house competitions that awards the top performing students with University scholarships.

In University, our alumni students still have access to internal support through our varsity mentorship program that helps the learner navigate and excel throughout university.
